"In-Situ" session

The In-Situ Session is dedicated to field demonstrations of innovative site characterization and soil/groundwater remediation techniques. Participating companies will have the opportunity to showcase their technologies directly on-site in Liège, demonstrating their capabilities in action and sharing insights into recent advancements and practical applications.

This interactive session offers a unique chance for attendees to connect and exchange with industry experts, discover cutting-edge technologies in real-site conditions, and discuss their applicability to various environmental challenges. By combining hands-on demonstrations with technical explanations, the session aims to foster collaboration, inspire innovation, and promote knowledge exchange in the fields of site characterization and remediation.


Call for Participation - CLOSED

Companies interested in participating in this special session are invited to submit an abstract of no more than 2 pages, which may include illustrations of their technology. The abstract should highlight:

  • The scope of the technology.
  • Its innovative aspects.
  • Potential applications in site characterization or remediation.

Abstract submissions closed as of 14 March.

Companies selected for this In-Situ Session will be contacted by Prof. Serge Brouyère.

The In-Situ Session will take place on:

  • Date: Wednesday, 18th June 2025
  • Time: 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM
  • Location: Liège Science Park, Sart Tilman

Please note that the organizers will provide access to the demonstration site only. No additional facilities, such as electricity or water, will be available on-site. Participating companies are encouraged to plan their demonstrations accordingly.
