Energy Transformation Scenarios

Three new scenarios from Shell - Waves, Islands and Sky 1.5 - explore the consequences of near-term choices.

The world remains turbulent and full of uncertainties, but the current crises may be a trigger for faster change. Choices today will shape the future global landscape and the energy system for decades to come. The interplay between land use, energy and future warming is also critical. In all three of the new Shell scenarios the energy system is transformed, the issue is speed.

This session is hosted by Prof. Dr. Huub Rijnaarts (Wageningen University & Chairman of AquaConSoil).
